ABOUT THE OWNER
Built through struggle.
Driven by purpose.
James Scott is proof that losing mobility does not mean losing purpose.
Known throughout the music community as DJ Lil J “Da Throwback King” and recording artist Swinga 864, James has spent more than 30 years building relationships through music, entertainment and service. His entrepreneurial path includes Scott’s Services Solutions LLC, established in 2010, and Shorty Pee Entertainment LLC, formed in South Carolina in 2020.
His journey has not been easy. After becoming a double below-knee amputee and facing partial vision loss, James had to rebuild the way he moved, worked and led. Health challenges interrupted business operations, but they did not end his mission. He continued creating opportunities for independent artists, business owners and his community while building new ways to serve customers.
Today, James leads Shorty Pee Entertainment LLC, Shorty Pee Radio, The Plug Spot Podcast and TV, The Plug Network, Soul Lounge 2.0 and Scott’s Services Solutions LLC. His work brings broadcasting, artist development, promotion, events and professional cleaning together under one standard: show up, serve people and keep building.
